Evelyn Kirkland

Evelyn B. Kirkland Coffeyville resident Evelyn B. Kirkland passed away on Friday afternoon, September 22, 2006 at her residence. She was 84. She was born on January 18, 1922 in Coffeyville to Levi and Alice Mae Henderson Bales. She married James C. Hartley and Later Ora Kirkland. Evelyn loved to play bingo and family card games. She also enjoyed crocheting, fishing with her kids and for many years, raising chickens. Survivors include daughters Mildred Hartley,Helen Frankie Woods and Penny Rexwinkle; a son James N. Hartley. There are fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 25, 2006 in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home.Mr.Mike Graham will officate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home.
