Everett Blakslee Aug. 11, 1926 Dec. 23, 2006 Everett Blakslee, age 80, entered into rest on December 23, 2006 at Windsor Place, Coffeyville, Kansas. He was born August 11, 1926 to Ora and Mary Margaret Maxwell Blakslee at El Doroado, Arkansas. Everett attended school at Cedar Bluff Schools North on Cline Road. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific as a Machinist for 8 years. Everett married Violet Ruth Wright on August 24, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death May 28, 2006. Mr. Blakslee was a member of the Keystone Masonic Lodge AF amp; AM 102, Shriners and VFW Post 1022 of Coffeyville. He is survived by one step-son, Bill Hader, Coffeyville; two grandsons, Brad Hader of Andover, Ks. and Jeff Hader of Wichita, Ks.; One great grandson, Zach Hader of Wichita. Two brothers, John Blakslee, Coffeyville; Dale Blakslee, Grove, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Clarence Blakslee, three step-brothers, Richard Dick, Jack and Millard Johnston, one step-sister, Wilda Lucille Billis McCabe. His hobbies included flying, ham radios and computers. Cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will take place at a later date. There will be no visitation held.
