Faye Turner

Faye J. Turner, 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Kansas Christian Home in Newton, Kansas.

Faye was born on January 10, 1939 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Paul and Dorothy (Green) Stevens. She grew up in Coffeyville where she went to school.

She married Herbert Shy and of that union two children were born. She spent her days raising their children, taking care of her family and the home. The couple later divorced. Faye was then married to Cleston Turner whom preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Amazing Grace Chapel in Coffeyville. All of her free time was spent enjoying the time she had with her family and friends.

Surviving to honor her memory is her son, Brian Shy of Newton, Kansas; brother, Robert Stevens of Havana, Kansas; sister, Karla Lewis of Coffeyville, Kansas; grandchildren Derek Shy of Emporia, Kansas, Jeff Sky of Newton, Kansas, Briana Shy of Salina, Kansas, Johnny Whitmore of Iola, Kansas and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy; husband, Cleston; daughter, Pamela Shy and her sister, Sharon Gasner.

Per Faye's request there will be no public services. Interment will take place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville.
