Fern Palmer

Fern Miller Palmer passed away April 3, 2010 in the Eagle River Memorial Hospital in Eagle River, Wisconsin. She was born May 25, 1920 in Nowata County, Oklahoma to Joseph and Johnnie Cline Miller and attended area schools. On January 7, 1941 she married Ray Palmer, they lived more than fifty years on their farm in Craig County, Oklahoma and raised their four surviving children, Donnie and wife, Mary Ann of Coffeyville, Kansas, Peggy Said and husband, Ed of Land of Lakes, Wisconsin, Sheryl Baker of Edna, Kansas,and friend Mike of Oologah, Oklahoma, Bruce of rural Edna, Kansas and friend Olga of Independence, Kansas. Mrs. Palmer is also survived by many nieces and nephews great and greatgreat grandchildren three sisters, Audrey Thompson of Coffeyville, KS, Faye Keaton of rural South Coffeyville, OK, and Lois Neese of Toledo, Ohio sisterinlaw, Pearl Wilson and husband, Jim of Coffeyville, KS. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Patty Jo husband, Ray parents three brothers and one sister. Services are under the direction of PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel of 2405 Woodland Ave. in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends may call on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. to sign the guest register. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant View Church of God south of Edna, Kansas. Pastor Jimmy Harrington will officiate. Burial will follow at the North Edna Cemetery.
