Francina Gillam Dulin 1920 2006 Francina Gillam Dulin, age, 85 Coffeyville, Kansas resident entered into rest, July 16, 2006 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 17, 1920 in Coffeyville, Kansas to John Bartley Gillam and Adeline Francina Parker Gillam in Coffeyville, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Bartley Gillam and Adeline Francina Parker Gillam of Coffeyville. She was a 1938 graduate from Field Kindley Memorial High School amp; Coffeyville Community College in 1940 with a Associates of Arts Degree. On February 8, 1941 she married John Solomon Dulin. He preceded her in death January 24, 2002. She was member of the Holy Name Catholic Church where she served in the Altar Society. She was a Grand Champion Winner at the Coffeyville Interstate Fair for several years for her needlepoint, and was also an accomplished pianist, harpist, seamstress, cook and a wonderful mother to their five children. She enjoyed the Telephone Pioneers with her husband John. John and Francina were often seen around town, either walking or riding their bikes. Survivors include: a brother, John Bartley Gillam, Jr. of Newport New, Virginia, three daughters and son-in-laws, Diane Atkinson and husband Dennis of Longview, Texas; Susan Case and husband Dan of Denton, Texas and Shryl Dulin Andrews of Coffeyville, Kansas Two sons, John M. Dulin and wife Robby of Coffeyville, Kansas; Mark Dulin and wife Melissa of Ellicott City, Maryland. Eleven Grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her Daughter-in-law, Pam Dulin. Calling hoursVisitation will be held on: Her body will lie in state on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville. She then will be moved to the Holy Name Catholic Church on Wednesday Evening for a 8:00 p.m. Rosary Service. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Holy Name Catholic Church, Coffeyville, Kansas. Father Stephen Thapwa, St. Andrews Catholic Church, Independence, Kansas will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas.
