Freda Drews

Freda Ethel Scott Drews, 69, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family will conduct a memorial service on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville with Reverend Conn Davis officiating. Freda was born May 17, 1942 in Mena, Arkansas, the daughter of Lee Roy and Myrtle Scott. She went to school in Coffeyville. She was a CNA and ward clerk at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center for 30 years. She was also a member of Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church and on the auxiliary board of Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. On April 21, 1961 she married Norman Drews at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. She is survived by her husband parents sons, Dennis Michelle Drews, Liberty, Missouri, and Danny Kelli Drews, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma daughter, Darla Spears, Pittsburg, Kansas sisters, Barbara Ken Hilton, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and Bonnie Dale Nolte, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma and eight grandchildren.
