Gene Yeubanks

Lifetime Coffeyville, KS resident, Gene A. Yeubanks, 68, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Gene was born on April 12, 1940 in Coffeyville, the son of Floyd and Virgie Frye Yeubanks. He was employed by Co-Pac for 19 years and later retired from Morrow Foundry after nearly 22 years. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, playing guitar, singing, bowling, and fishing. He was also a Golden Glove Boxer in Coffeyville. Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Nancy King, of the home; daughters, Teresa Robertson of Coffeyville, Tammy Enloe of Bartlesville, OK, and Sandra Love of South Coffeyville, OK; sons, Scott Yeubanks, Raymond Yeubanks, and Joe Coy, all of Coffeyville; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 12 noon. until 9 p.m. and the family will welcome friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. that evening.
