Gerald Johnson

Gerald Robert Johnson age 64, of Coffeyville, passed away on December 14, 2016 at his home.

Gerald was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 1, 1952 to Robert and Evelyn (Hatfiled) Johnson. He had been an over the road truck driver for 42 years and was currently working part time as an automotive parts driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward Johnson of Sapulpa, OK and Evelyn Louise Rice of Leavenworth, KS. He has left behind his wife, Echo Johnson of the home, a step-daughter, Annette Hays of Concordia, KS, a son, Aaron Johnson of Carsulton, England, a step sister, Wilma Earline Laughter, half-sisters Rena Minton and Sue Smith, all of which are in the Tulsa, OK area. He has 6 step grandchildren.

Honoring Gerald's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. No services are planned but the family will gather for a time of reflection, speaking of the many stories about Gerald.
