Glenda Adams

Glenda Adams Former Coffeyville resident, Glenda Fay Adams entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 21, 2007 in Jenks, Oklahoma. She was 62. Glenda was born on May 28, 1944 in Tulare, California to Buck and Nora Jones Watson. She grew up and attended school in Tulare. On January 16, 1962 she married JessePee Wee Adams. She moved with her husband and family to Coffeyville in early 1980. She enjoyed being a waitress her entire life and cooked and baked for her family and friends. Friends and family knew that they could stay at her house and there would always be good home cooked meals. Her final gift was that of being an organ donor. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Cynthia Orms of Jenks, Oklahoma and Virgil Orms of Coffeyville; son, Douglas and Gail Adams of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Jessica and Anthony Bean of Tulsa, V. Lee Orms of Tulsa, Barbara and Amy Adams both of Denver, Colorado; great-grandson, Benjamin Bean. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jesse Adams on July 16, 1999. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2007 in the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kevin OConnor will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday from 9 am until 9 pm at the funeral home to sign the guest register. A memorial fund has been established with the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
