Glenn Keck, Jr.

Glenn A. Keck, Jr., 82, of Bartlesville, OK, passed away Thursday, July, 10, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Glenn was born on June 25, 1926 in Coffeyville, KS, the son of Glenn A. and Edna Manley Keck, Sr. He attended schools in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, he met Connie Nickas and they were united in marriage on Sept. 17, 1944 in Niles, CA. Following his military discharge in 1945, the couple made their homes in California, Coffeyville, KS, Albuquerque, NM, and Bartlesville, OK. Connie preceded him in death in 2002. Survivors include: three sons, Bruce Keck of Beloit, KS, William Keck, of Roswell, NM, and Richard Keck of Coffeyville, KS; one sister, Mae Jackson of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Keck will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel of Coffeyville, KS. Interment will follow in Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
