Mrs. Hallie Bess Hill, 91, of Coffeyville, died Friday evening at Windsor Place. Funeral services will be held at at the Penwell-Gabel Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel with Diane Massey, Lay Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Coffeyville, officiating. Interment will be at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. Friends may call at the Penwell-Gabel Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday. The family suggests memorial remembrances to the First Presbyterian Church and remembrances will be received at the funeral home. Hallie Bess Hill was born May 24, 1916 at Nowata, Oklahoma, the daughter of Walter Raemhild and Martha Pearl Warner Raemhild. She grew up and attended Nowata schools, graduating from Nowata High School. After graduation, Mrs. Hill moved to Coffeyville. She worked at the clothing thrift shop at the First United Presbyterian Church for over 25 years. She was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed stamp and coin collecting. She was united in marriage to Loyd Jarman and the couple were later
orced. In 1948 in Coffeyville, Kansas she was united in marriage to Jess E. Hill. Mr. Hill preceded his wife in death. Survivors include: One son, Raymond E. Jarman of Coffeyville; a daughter, Terrie and her husband Jim Mummert of Coffeyville; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Raemhild.
