Hazel Davis

Hazel M. Jones Davis 1912 2007 Hazel M. Jones Davis, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas, entered into rest on April 12, 2007 at the Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida. She was 94. Hazel was born Aug. 2, 1912 to John Burnett and Lena Hahn Burnett in Chetopa, Kansas. On Oct. 4, 1956 she married Charles Ansel Jones at Coffeyville, Kansas. He preceded her in death July 29, 1971. She also was married to Clarence Shaw and J.R. Davis they both preceded her in death. Survivors include: Daughter, Bonnie Shaw, Clearwater, Florida, Son, Chuck Shaw, Dallas, Texas, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davis also a manager of Safeway Aamp;P. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and ceramics. Hazel was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Coffeyville and currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Clearwater, Florida. Hazel was also member of Homemakers Club of Montgomery County. Visitation will be held at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2007 in the Masonic Garden of Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Coffeyville, Kansas. Dr. Wayne Norton of the First Baptist Church will be officiating. Family and friends will gather at the graveside prior to the Committal service. Family has suggested no flowers.
