Fairhaven - Hazel L. Cain Miller Purcell, 84, of Westport Point, MA, formerly of Coffeyville, KS, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at Nichols House Nursing Home. She was the widow of Staff Sgt. Thomas C. Miller. Born in Coffeyville, KS, a daughter of the late Virn L. and Mary Timmerman Cain, she had lived in Coffeyville her entire life until moving to Westport Point 12 years ago. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Coffeyville, KS. She is survived by a daughter: Virginia M.Ginny Haines amp; her husband Robert M. of Westport Point, MA; 6 brothers and sisters: Harriet Freidline of Coffeyville, KS, Harold Cain of Dearing, KS, Harland Cain of Coffeyville, KS, Howard Cain of Coffeyville, KS, HermeniaLouise Woodruff of Turner, OR and Harvey Cain of Salem, OR; 3 grandchildren: Mr. amp; Mrs. Robert M. Haines, Jr. of Westport, MA, Matthew J. Haines of Miami, FL and Rebecca M. Haines of Westport, MA; 2 great grandchildren: Robert M. Haines III and Savannah Haines; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Hubert V. Cain, Hester Johnson, Helen Stewart, Hilda Hribernick and Herman Cain. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel-Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel39;s Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville. Calling hours Visitation: Mrs. Purcell, who will lie in state from 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 25, 2007, family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
