HELEN H. EASTON Helen H. Easton, 93, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Thursday, May 04, 2006 at the Cambridge Unit, Windsor Place, Coffeyville, Kansas. Helen was born on December 09, 1912 in Leavenworth County, Easton Township, Kansas to James and Clara E. Redinbo Henson. Her family moved to the Coffeyville area in 1914 and she attended local schools. Helen married George W. Pete Easton on August 16, 1932 in Coffeyville, Kansas. They made their home in Coffeyville where they raised four daughters, Georgia L. Baker of Coffeyville, Kansas, Patricia D. Robertson and her husband, Barry of Havana Lake, Havana, Kansas, Edith Ann Bell and her husband, J.C. of Kerrville, Texas and Jane Helen Owen and her husband, Don of Bixby, Oklahoma. Following the death of George in 1965, she began working for the Prescription Shop where she was employed as a clerk for about seventeen years. She was a member of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church where she was active in the Altar Guild. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and six step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, LeRoy Henson and one sister, Edith A. McNatt. Visitation hours for Helen will be on Sunday, May 07, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m also, Monday morning from 9:00 AM until noon at the Penwell Gabel Ford Wulf Bruns, Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral services for Helen H. Easton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2006 at the St. Pauls Episcopal Church with Fr. Jerry Adinolfi officiating her service. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas. The family has suggested memorial contributions to either the St. Pauls Episcopal Church or Harry Hynes Hospice.
