Helen Frederick

Helen E Frederick age 96 of South Coffeyville, OK passed away on December 6, 2018 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.

Helen was born in Ottumwa, IA on July 31, 1922 to Samuel and Opha (Johnston) Fenton. Helen attended school in Ottumwa and graduated from high school there. After high school she began working as a legal secretary until she met Joseph Frederick and the couple was united in marriage in June of 47. The couple was blessed with 3 sons and 2 daughters, Helen stayed home to care for the children and manage the duties of the house. She was tasked with making the house a home, and she loved doing so. Once the children left the home she went back to the workforce where she worked for a couple of retailers as a sales associate. In her free time Helen loved to crochet and hand paint plates and crafts. Helen was also very involved with the First United Methodist Church in South Coffeyville and her church family.

Helen's memories will live on with her children, Freddie Frederick his wife Shirley of South Coffeyville, Kathy Campbell her husband George of South Coffeyville, Dale Frederick his wife Brenda of Grove, and Pamela Steele of Council Bluff, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She now rests with her parents, her husband Joseph, and son Larry.
