HELEN JEAN KING BROWN 1933-2005 Helen Jean King Brown, age 72, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away early Friday morning, June 10, 2005 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville. She was born May 29, 1933 in Alpena, Michigan to Elroy Comiska, Sr. and Mabyn Wood Comiska. She graduated from Busch High School in 1951 from Centerline, Michigan. She married John King in Michigan on November 10, 1956. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1988. She later married Keith Allen Brown in Coffeyville, Kansas on September 7, 2003. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2004. She retired from Color Customs of Warren, Michigan as a general line laborer. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Coffeyville. She is survived by her mother, Mabyn Comiska of Warren, Michigan; one son, John King of Taylor, Michigan; three daughters, Margaret Edmiston and her husband Preston of Coffeyville, Kansas, Gladys Hart of Cordova, Alabama, Danita King of St. Clair Shore, Michigan; one brother, Elroy Comiska, Jr. of Warren, Michigan; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Marshall and Robert Comiska; one daughter, Karen King and her two husbands, John King and Keith Brown. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf Bruns Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf Bruns Funeral Home, 2405 Woodland, Coffeyville.
