Coffeyville resident Henry Eugene Sisco entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at his home. He was 62. Henry was born October 28, 1944 in Liberty, Kansas to Jasper and Naomi Speeks Sisco. He joined the US Army and received his GED. He served at Ft. Riley, Ft. Hood and Ft. Leonard Wood, as well as serving in Germany, Thailand and Vietnam before being honorably discharged. He married Phyllis Smith on June 29, 1979 in Bartlesville, OK. He worked for Samp;S Disposal Service. He eventually took over the business from his father and later sold it to Sunset Disposal. Henry enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and being with his family. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Smith Sisco; six sons, Larry Thomas, Victor Purkey, Waymon North and wife, Angie, Mitchell George and wife, Kelli, all of Coffeyville, Albert Sisco and wife, Wendy, of Lenapah, Oklahoma, and William Andrew Sisco, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Karen Ann Sisco, and Cassie Marie Smith and husband, Dale both of Coffeyville, Kansas; one brother, Albert Sisco and wife, Pat of McMinnville, Oregon; 23 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces. He is proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Clement Sisco; two sisters, Carma Sisco and an infant sister; one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Pastor Mike Graham will be officiating. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville to sign the guest register.
