Hervey Ayres, Jr.

Hervey L. Ayres, Jr. 1951 - 2006 Hervey L. Ayres, Jr., age 55, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Ayres was born March 5, 1951in Orange County, California to Hervey L. and Verna Mae Wilbanks Ayres, Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of Field Kindley Memorial High School in Coffeyville, Kansas. He attended Coffeyville Community College for 1 year. He married Meike Wilson on May 5, 1985. They had a daughter Whitney B. Ayres whom now resides in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They later
orced. He worked as a stonebrick mason through out his life in the Winfield, Arkansas City, Coffeyville and Stillwater communities. He is also survived by One sister, Joyce Fehr, Abilene, Tx.; Two Step-Brothers, Steven Moody, Littleton, Co. and Robert Wise, Cedar City, Ut.; step-mother, Gladys Ayres, Coffeyville, Ks. He was preceded in death by his parents and half sister, Linda and his favorite dog Eric the Red. Cremation has taken place and calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Chapel. Celebration of Life services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2400 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Ks. Rev.
