Holland Jack Melton 1958 - 2005 Holland Jack Melton, age 47, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Friday, February 25, 2005 at his residence in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on January 16, 1958 to Ralph and Carol Crupper Melton in Fort Riley, Kansas. He attended Coffeyville Elementary School System. He also attended Field Kindley Memorial High School. He served in the US Army during peace time and received an honorable discharge in 1983. He had been employed with Southwestern Wire Inc. of Norman, Oklahoma. He is survived by one daughter, Carol Slaton and husband Charles of Coffeyville; four brothers, Steve Melton, Cherryvale, Ks.; Ralph Melton, Salina, Ks.; Perry Melton, Hannibal, Mo.; Jim Melton, Coffeyville; two sisters, Nancy Lawyer, Bartlesville, Ok.; Peggy Zillifro of Coffeyville; Paternal Grandmother, Doris Melton, Coffeyville; two grandsons, Kobe and Dylan Slaton. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no calling hours or visitation. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabels Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Ron Carnine will be officiating. Friends may call at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, Coffeyville, to sing the register.
