Keith McCormick Howard Keith McCormick of Coffeyville, Kansas died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was 83. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Cremation will take place following the service and inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may call to register Wednesday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home. The son of Charles and Laura Griffith McCormick, he was born June 24, 1924 in Nash, Oklahoma. He grew up and received his education in Enid, Oklahoma. On January 21, 1963 he was united in marriage to Cozzett Darlene Shamblin McCormick in Enid, Oklahoma. The couple lived in both Enid and Coffeyville all their married life. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2002. He was a farm worker for most of his life and also did lawn work. He was a fan of Western movies and country music. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Brady of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Tonya Kirk and Mary McCormick, both of Coffeyville; three brothers, George of Enid, Oklahoma, Cloyd of Nash, Oklahoma, and Harley of Ringwood, Oklahoma; two sisters, Anna Lee McCormick of Enid, Oklahoma and Hazel Smith of California; and six grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Katherine and Charles; two brothers, James and Charles; and five sisters, Nora, Lillion, Lela, Opal and Genevieve.
