Ila Fayrene Thiele, 85, Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may register on Friday August 21, 2015 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., at the Chapel with the family receiving guests from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Memorial Contributions may be made payable to The First Christian Church in Caney, Kansas or to The Salvation Army and may be left with the Chapel.
Fayrene was born March 1, 1930 in rural Sycamore, Kansas to Ray Herman and Ethyl (Macy) Jolly she attended Gravel Hills School and Independence Kansas Junior and High School. Fayrene married Sydney Thiele in Chanute, Kansas on April 7, 1947 the couple made their home in the Dearing and Coffeyville, Kansas area Fayrene was a fourteen year member of the First Christian Church of Caney, Kansas, The Christian Woman's Fellowship, and the Salvation Army, Fayrene was employed by the Dearing, Kansas School as a Cook, she and her husband Sydney owned and operated Thiele's Place in Dearing, Kansas, she was also employed at Litwins, and employed for more than 20 years at Jan L's Flowers as a clerk. Fayrene will be remembered as a Loving Mother, and for her Homemade Bread and Pies.
Fayrene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sydney, five brothers, Varley, Harold, Robert, Marvin, and Jack Jolly, two sisters, Earsley Henderson, and Gladys Thomas. Survivors include three daughters Elaine and husband Bob Cowan, Coffeyville, KS; Bronda Hatton, Marshall, TX; Becky Hamilton, Caney, KS; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Chris Bishop, Leesburg, VA; Richard Cowan, Arlington, TX; Heath Hatton, Marshal, TX; Brandy Cisna, Fenton, MO; Lacy Prothro, Flower Mound, TX; Jonathan Hamilton, Webb City, MO; James Hamilton, Dallas, TX; and fourteen great grandchildren, Madison, Gillian, Liam, Jessica, Casey, Garrett, Sydney, Grace, Terri, Beka, Zachary, Dillon, Nathan, and Hannah. Arrangements by Ford - Wulf - Bruns Chapel.
