Inessie Davis

Inessie R. Davis, 47, departed this life at 4:56 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2011, at St. Luke39s Hospital in St. Louis. She was the daughter of Freddie Scott and Edna Mae Burton, who are deceased. She was born on July 16, 1964, in Wichita, Kan. She was married to Vernon E. Davis in Topeka, Kan. Inessie was employed with Delmar Gardens West Nursing Home as a certified medication technician. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Vernon E. Davis III of St. Louis and Terrick Haynes of Atlanta, Ga. her daughter, Vernysha Davis Xavier Johnson of St. Louis three grandchildren, Makhi I. LittleDavis, Terriyan K. Haynes and Terrick Haynes Jr. one brother, Joshua Richardson of Sparta, Tenn. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, greatnephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Scott and a granddaughter, Xaria Johnson. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kan., with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.
