Irma Heldenbrand

Irma L. Heldenbrand 1910 2007 Irma L. Heldenbrand, age 96, entered into rest at her residence in Coffeyville on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Irma was born October 27, 1910 in Louisa County, Iowa to Mathilda Burchardt and Henry Bruhn. She was raised in the Labette County community. On October 27, 1935 she married Albert H. Heldenbrand. Following their marriage they moved to Coffeyville where they made there home until her death. Mr. Heldenbrand preceded Irma in death on April 9, 1970. Mrs. Heldenbrand was a homemaker. She was a past member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Irma later attended Coffeyville Bible Church. Survivors include: Four sisters, Dorothy Sorensen, Las Vegas, Nevada; Mathilda Bruhn, Violet Barker and Elizabeth Bruhn all of Coffeyville. Several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Calling hoursVisitation: Mrs. Heldenbrand will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, KS. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the graveside prior to services.
