Iva L. Parks, 82, of Coffeyville passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was born October 26, 1927 in Wann, OK to Uriah and Melvina Kelley Hadley. She grew up in Wann where she graduated high school. Iva worked as a clerk in the Radiology Department at KU Med Center in Kansas City, KS. She also worked in the Independence area as a CMA at the hospital and nursing homes. She has lived the last thirteen years in Coffeyville. She was married to Marion Shelton and the couple later divorced. She was then married to Clyde Crawford, he preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Harry Parks who preceded her in death in 2003. Iva enjoyed crafts, flowers, reading and being a member of the MidAmerica Revival Center in Coffeyville. Surviving to honor her memory is her daughter, Debra Curlis and husband, Dave of Liberty, KS brother, Louis Hadley and wife, Lily of Big Cabin, OK sisters, Ida McKinney her twin of Lowell, IN, Emma Stevens and husband, Virgil of Dearing, KS, Dorothy Ryan and husband, Earl of Pawnee, OK six grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents husbands, Clyde Crawford and Harry Parks three brothers six sisters and two sons. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wann Cemetery in Wann, Oklahoma. Pastor Odell Thomas will officiate. Friends may call on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel to sign the guest register.
