James Bartholomew

James Russel Bartholomew, age 59, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, passed away on December 9, 2015 in Bartlesville, OK.

James was born on September 23, 1956 in Coffeyville, KS to Clifford and Nellie Lou (Laney) Bartholomew. Mr. Bartholomew attended Coffeyville schools and Coffeyville Votech. In 2000 he was introduced to Melissa Pinckney. He enjoyed the outdoors and everything it had to offer, camping, fishing, 4 wheeling, and dirt track racing. James was a very understanding, kind, giving person, but also enjoyed playing practical jokes. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Left to honor his memory is his spouse Melissa Pinckney Bartholomew, sons; Jimmy Bartholomew Priesing, James Dewayne Bartholomew, John Paul Bartholomew, and Calvin Russell Bartholomew, daughter; Tabitha Pinckney Martindale, Sisters; Linda Bartholomew, Nancy Scholes, Pearl Hannah, and Vickie Carter, brother Marshall Kriebel Several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 13, 2015at 2:00 pm at Gibbs Hall 207 W Broadway, South Coffeyville, OK. Immediately following the service there will be ham and beans served with a free will donation accepted to help defray the costs of the funeral friends are also invited to bring a covered dish if they please.
