James D.Led Ledbetter, 51, Coffeyville, Kansas, died Sunday afternoon, October 24, 2010 at his home. Led, as he was known to friends and family alike, was born July 19, 1959 at Wichita, Kansas. He moved to Hamlin, Texas and received his education from Hamlin High School. Jim married Kathleen Barnhart on January 3, 1982 at Hamlin. He worked for Dixon and Spears Manufacturing and was a welder for MEC of Neodesha and Tank Connections of Oswego, Kansas. Led loved riding his 1976 HarleyDavidson Electra Glide and playing horseshoes. Survivors are his wife, Kathleen of the home two daughters, Jennifer Muntzert and her husband, Terry of Coffeyville and Samantha Gudde and her husband, Kyle of Edna, Kansas special nephew, Stan Ledbetter and his wife, Carrie of Basehor, Kansas fatherinlaw and motherinlaw, Howard and Alice Barnhart of Coffeyville three brothers, Chuck Ledbetter and his wife, Debbie of Gahanna, Ohio, Marcel Ledbetter and his wife, Joy of Kansas City, Kansas and Claude Ledbetter and his wife, Rhonda of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma two sisters, Kathy True of Independence, Missouri and Anita Cooper of Hamlin, Texas four grandchildren, Dakota Muntzert, Ellie Gudde, Aaron Radke and Conner James Ledbetter other relatives and many, many friends. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at PenwellGabel FordWulfBruns Chapel, Coffeyville, with Pastor Claude Ledbetter officiating. The family suggests memorial donations to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and the donations may be left at the funeral home.
