James Bob Robert McCormick 1914 - 2005 James Bob Robert McCormick, age 91, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2005 at Windsor Place, Coffeyville, Kansas. He was born January 29, 1914 in Carona, Kansas to Bernard Theodore McCormick and Flossie Williams McCormick. Marriage: On May 15, 1934 he married Marie Butler. She preceded him in death February 20, 2002. Mr. McCormick was a pipefitter. They lived in various communities throughout the United States due to his occupation. In 1980, the couple retired and moved to South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing. Survivors include: Three sisters, Mildred King, Dearing, Kansas Louise Stills, Coffeyville, Kansas, Thelma Mae Hobbs, Coffeyville, Kansas Two brothers, Irvin McCormick, Dennis, Kansas; Joe McCormick, Kansas City, Missouri. He was also preceded in death by: parents, two brothers, Chester, Charlie McCormick, two sisters, Dorothy Temple and Edith McCormick. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Fariview Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the graveside prior to services.
