Coffeyville resident, James F. Ruark died Saturday, November 24, 2007 in Coffeyville. He was 70. James was born December 8, 1936 in Coffeyville, KS to James Ray and Jenny Elizabeth Dunn Ruark. He grew up and attended schools in Coffeyville. On September 27, 1958 he married Marie Pauline Cordell Ruark in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Coffeyville. He served in the United States Air Force and after receiving his honorable discharge he worked several occupations over the years including, United Brick Company, Donaldson Feeds Store, USD 445, Funk Manufacturing and General radiator. He is survived by his daughters Lisa M. Ruark and Teresa Collins both of Coffeyville; sons, James C. Ruark of Tyro, KS and Dean Ruark of Coffeyville; brother, Bill Ruark of Coffeyville; sister, Peggy Barnard of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie Pauline Ruark; a son, Carl Leo Ruark and a brother Carl Lee Ruark. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville. Pastor Mike Graham will officiate. Services are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 from 9 am until 9 pm at the funeral home to sign the guest register. The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice these may be left with the funeral home.
