Janis Rose

Janis "Jan" Ann Rose, 61, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at CRMC.

Jan was born on March 17, 1953 in Dodge City, Kansas to George and Zelda (Reece) Smith. She attended school in Independence, Kansas and graduated high school from Field Kindley Memorial High School in Coffeyville, Kansas. Jan took classes at Coffeyville Community College and achieved her Certified Nurses Aid licensing. She worked as a CNA at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center for many years.

On January 27, 1997 she was united in marriage to Clarence Rose in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Jan enjoyed yard work, gardening, tending to her house plants, camping, fishing, crocheting and she loved her dogs. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family and friends.

Surviving to honor her memory are her loving husband, Clarence of the home; daughters, Tammie Mann and husband, Shayne of Hume, Missouri, Crystal Noland; grandchildren, Ian Rose, Dylan Mann, Zachary Stoll, Wyatt Mann. She was also survived by her brothers and sisters. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, George and Zelda and by a brother, Marvin Smith.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville. Per Jan's request no public service will be held.
