JayDee Summers Jay 54, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord from his home after a long batle with cancer. Jay was born May 6, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of John Henry and Dequita Beeler Summers. Jay worked for Tulsa Ford Glass Plant for almost 30 years. Jay was a Decorated Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He attended Tyro Christian Church. He married Janice Kuehn on June 15, 1974, in Coffeyville, Kansas. Survivors: Wife: Jan Summers of the home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma 1 Son: Joshua Summers South Coffeyville, Oklahoma 1 Daughter: Amber Lowrey and her husband Mike South Coffeyville, Ok. 2 Grandchildren: Mekayla and Augustas Lowrey Mother: Dequita Summers Tulsa, Oklahoma 1 Brother: James Summers Tulsa, Oklahoma 4 Sisters: Nancy Garton Depew, Oklahoma Teresa Blanco Tulsa, Oklahoma Rita Morales Skiatook, Oklahoma Jackie Ghazal Skiatook, Oklahoma He was preceded in death by his father on December 24, 1992. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2005, at the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro, Kansas. Burial will follow the service in the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville. Mr. Summers will lie in state from 1-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home where the casket will remain closed.
