Jerry Lackey

Gerald Jerry E. Lackey South Coffeyville resident, Gerald Jerry E. Lackey entered into erternal rest on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Joplin, Missouri. He was 70. Jerry was born August 3, 1937 in Coffeyville to John E. and Ruth Holton Lackey. He grew up and attended schools and graduated in Edna, Kansas. He served in the National Guard until his honorable discharge. He was a lifetime farmer and rancher and was a member of the American Legion. . Survivors include sister Jane Nigh of Pharr, Texas; nephews, Johnnie Rexwinkle, Jimmie Rexwinkle, Danny Rexwinkle, Donnie Rexwinkle, Delbert Rexwinkle and nieces, Debbie Taylor, Delores Frank and many other friends and family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home of Coffeyville. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Jerrys farm.
