Jerry Smith

Jerry Alan Smith, age 63 of Coffeyville, Kansas died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Friends may sign the online register book at www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com.

The family has suggested memorials to the American Diabetes Association and contributions may be left at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

Jerry Alan Smith was born June 29, 1951 in Downey, California to Marion and Joy (Allman) Smith. He grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas and graduated from the Coffeyville Field Kindley High School in 1969. Jerry worked for the Pipefitters Union 798. Jerry worked on the Alaskan Pipeline and as a security guard at the refinery, until he retired because of disability. Jerry loved guns and was a sharpshooter.

Survivors include his mother Joy Smith of Coffeyville, Kansas; one sister Jodie Ryan of Coffeyville, Kansas; two brothers Daryl Smith and Ken Smith both of Coffeyville, Kansas; two nieces Jennifer Yongberg, Keturah Tarintino; and one nephew Todd Smith.
