Coffeyville resident Jewell ADolly .Kriebel, 81, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Kriebel was born May 28, 1926 at Howdan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles John Koehlhoeffer and Jennie Deller Koehlhoeffer. She attended school in Nowata County and attended Coffeyville Community College for a year. She managed the Peter Pan Ice Cream Store for a time, worked at Krogers and at the Red Bud Food Store. She retired from Western Publishing after working there for over 25 years. She sold Avon products for over 30 years and was top salesperson several times during her career. She attended the Nazarene and the First Church of God. She was also active in the VFW Auxiliary. On November 30, 1944 at Nowata, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to Robert T. Kriebel and he survives at the home. Additional survivors include: one son, Robert A. Kriebel of Coffeyville, Kansas; three daughters, Jenny L Kriebel of Coffeyville, Kansas, Linda K Knewtson of Nixa, Missouri and Karen S. KriebelMoses of Coffeyville; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; eight step great-granchildren and one brother, Robert Melvin Koehlhoeffer of Pekin, Ilinois. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel with the Reverend Mike Elrod, pastor of the Westside Christian Church of Coffeyville, officiating. Interment will be at the Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m on Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial remembrances to the Gideons International and remembrances will be received at the funeral home.
