Jim Fisher

Coffeyville resident, Jim D. Fisher entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 16th, 2007. He was 81. Jim was born in Coffeyville on November 15th, 1926, to Jim and Rose Knisley Fisher. He attended school in Coffeyville up to the 11th grade. He moved to Michigan when he was 17 years old. He worked for the Sutherlin Paper Co. in Kalamazoo, Michigan for 33 years. He returned to live in the South CoffeyvilleCoffeyville area where he worked as a Pipefitter with Union Local 339. He married Beverly June Loveless on November 15, 1982 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church on the corner of 14th and Willow in Coffeyville. He is survived by his wife Beverly June Fisher of the home; His children from his first marriage son Kim D. Fisher of Wichita, and daughter Tonya Moon of Michigan. He is also survived by his children from current marriage, daughters Judy Elliott of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Linda Benton of Coffeyville, and Tracey Lockaby of Coffeyville. One brother Leroy Fisher of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. One sister Juanita Wilson of Coffeyville, several nieces and nephews, fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jake Fisher, one sister Wanda Vogan and one daughter from his first marriage Linda. Private family services are planned.
