Joe Mcdaniel

Joe Lewis McDaniel, 65, Coffeyville, Kansas, died Saturday evening, July 9, 2011 at St. Francis Via Christi Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. Joe was born August 19, 1945 at Coffeyville to Fred McDaniel and Elizabeth Crawford McDaniel. He was a lifelong Coffeyville resident. Joe worked for 18 years as a painter for Coffeyville Recon. He met and later married Jessie Dent in Coffeyville. Joe was a member of Coffeyvilles Union Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jessie of Hurst, TX a son, David McDaniel of Denver, Colorado two daughters, Rachel McDaniel of Huntsville, Alabama and Shametra McDaniel of Dallas, Texas one sister, Idella Jennings of Coffeyville and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents by two brothers and four sisters. A memorial service will be held 11 am, Friday, July 15, 2011 at Union Baptist Church, Coffeyville.
