John Cline Preble, age 71 of Coffeyville, passed away on October 5, 2024 at Medicalodges on Midland, following a battle with declining health issues. A private man, John faced life's obstacles with resilience and a generous heart. He was known to give selflessly, always willing to help those in need. His love for his Schipperke dogs was evident, with his four legged friends Louie who preceding him in death and Plato now being cared for by his son, Marshall.

John was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and a proud supporter of Donald Trump. His faith was central to his life, and he was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he found joy in worshiping his Lord and Savior. Even as his health began to decline, he appreciated the visits and cards from Pastor Diane Massey, which provided encouragement during difficult times.
