John Stoltenberg

Johnny John Ray Stoltenberg, 62, of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away January, 25, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at FordWulfBruns Chapel. Friends may register on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to FordWulfBruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas.

John was born on February 16, 1951 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Edward and Gloria Burnett Stoltenberg. He was raised and received his education in Grand Island.

On December 26, 1970, John was united in marriage to Margarett Hoss. To this union three sons and a daughter were born. The couple made their home in Grand Island, shortly after they then moved to Larned, Kansas where John began working for Parrett Pipe. He then transferred to Sedan, Kansas where they lived for many years, before making Coffeyville his final home where John worked at Amazon.

John loved to be with his grandchildren. In his free time he did crafts with his granddaughter, Paris. John enjoyed fishing and he also loved a good steak.

John is survived by his wife, Margarett of the home sons, Johnny of Grand Island, Nebraska, Troy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Trapper and his wife, Joanna of Coffeyville, Kansas daughter, Gidgett Caulkins and her husband, Russell of Coffeyville, Kansas twelve grandchildren two greatgrandchildren brothers, Doug, Randy, Steve and sisters, Terri and Kim. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gloria.
