JudithJudy Baber was called home Saturday, September 26, 2009. Judy was born September 3, 1942 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Cecil and Doris Baber. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Womens University in 1964 and then went on to get her Masters of Arts in PE and Health at UTPB University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 1975. She coached athletics at Alamo Junior High School in Midland, Texas until she retired in 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents; by a big brother, WilliamBill Baber and by a loving sister-in-law, Beverly Baber. She leaves behind her beloved Pug,Gordi; her mutt, Megan, and two sweet cats. Judy is also survived by her great-nephew, ErnestoBuddy Calderon of Midland, a niece, Belinda Baber of Manhattan, Kansas; niece, Brenda Jones of Cherryvale, Kansas; great-nephew, Brandon Calderon of Manhattan, Kansas and Nelda Baber of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Also surviving are several great-nephews and nieces and many loving and devoted friends. A celebration of Judys life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, Texas. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Veterans Pation of Coffeyvilles Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Norton officiating.
