Karin Fae Foster-Young passed away unexpectedly at her home in Coffeyville, Kansas on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the age of 71.
Karin was born in Nowata, Oklahoma to Leroy and Norma (Young) Foster on August 29, 1951. She grew up in the Lenapah, Oklahoma area where she also attended school with her four siblings, Robert Foster, Richard Foster, Mark Foster, and Debbie Mckee.
Karin was a strong, outgoing, family-oriented personality. She worked hard all her life to provide for her children and even her grandchildren. She loved her family dearly and always wanted what was best for them, no matter the situation. Karin also enjoyed the company of her many friends at the American Legion and VFW in Coffeyville, Kansas. There, she spent most of her later years, surrounded by the people she enjoyed. She will be missed by countless amounts of friends and family.
Karin leaves behind three children that she loved, Lance Harrington and wife Nancy, Kallie Gibson, and Kerra Harrington; 10 grandchildren that she adored, Dalton Harrington, Dillon Harrington, Cody Harrington, Ty Harrington, Kyler Gibson, Erik Gibson, Karigan Gibson, Kiearra Harrington, Quan Smith, and Dominique Smith; 11 great-grandchildren with another one on the way; brother Mark Foster and brother-in-law Terry Joe McKee. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert Foster and Richard Foster, and sister, Debbie McKee.
