Kathryn Virginia Robinson 90, of Coffeyville, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Windsor Place. Virginia was born June 4, 1917 in Hewin, Kansas to Hugh and Carrie Pack, she was the only child born to that union. Virginia graduated from Cedervale High School in 1936. In 1939 she moved to Kingman, AZ with her parents. She was an employee of Central Commercial, and she was a charter member of the First Baptist Church. On May 18, 1947 she married Hearld A. Robinson at Wichita, KS. Following their marriage they made their home on Route 2 where they farmed and raised cattle. Virginia was a homemaker. Virginia was a faithful member of Valeda Friendly Neighbors Club. Virginia was survived by a son, Ray L. Robinson and friend, Teri of Coffeyville; her daughter, Janice and Cody Mummert of Coffeyville; three grandchildren; cousins and a friend, Gladys Brashear. Virgina was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years; her parents; and a son, Neil H. Robinson, who died in 1964. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, KS. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville.
