Kay Henry

Kay "Katie" Eileen Henry, age 35 of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away December 16, 2016 at her home in Coffeyville.

Katie was born on October 6, 1981 in Coffeyville, the daughter of Dana Robert Henry and Blenda (Trask) Henry
Katie attended Coffeyville schools graduating from Field Kindley in 2000. She later attended Coffeyville Community College graduating in 2014.
Katie was employed at Windsor Place and was always known for greeting co-workers and residents with a smile and a kind words. Katie loved helping others and was on the Board of Deacons of First Presbyterian Church of Coffeyville. She could be found helping "Gram's" friends with technology issues. Katie's love of books and music led her to dreams of publishing her own written works and illustrations.

Katie is survived by her father, Dana Henry and beloved grandmother, Mary Ann Trask and lots of aunts and uncles. Katie was preceded in death by, her mother, Blenda Trask and grandfather, Leroy Trask.

Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 am, under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the First Presbyterian Church and may be left in care of the chapel.
