Kenneth Knight

Kenneth Edward Knight, age 75, of Coffeyville, Kansas died January 18, 2013 at his home in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the FordWulfBruns Chapel. Graveside Inurnment will take place at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Spring Hill Cemetery north of Coffeyville, Kansas.

Kenneth was born October 2, 1937 in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma to William Lee Sr. and Silver May Downing Knight. Kenneth grew up in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma and attended schools there.

On October 26, 1954 Kenneth entered the United States Air Force and served until his honorable discharge on August 26, 1958. Kenneth worked as a boilermaker for Local 83 out of Kansas City until his retirement in 1999. Kenneth was an avid golfer, pool shark, loved to play softball and horseshoes.

Survivors include nieces Carol Miller of Ozark, Arkansas, Debbie Mitchell of Independence, Kansas, Sharon Stong of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and Brenda Cain of Independence, Kansas nephew Kenny Knisley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister Clara Smith of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma brotherinlaw Charles Knisley of Caney, Kansas and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers William Alfred lee Knight Jr. and Lee Knight, three sisters Ruth Knisley, Anna Mae Phel, and Rose Mary.
