Lee Sylvester Wade, age 90, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Windsor Place.
Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private inurnment at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. FordWulfBruns Chapel will be handling the arrangements.

Mr. Wade was born on October 21, 1922 to Sandy and Igie Amos Wade in Oskaloosa, Missouri. His family later moved to Cherryvale, Kansas where he attended school. Mr. Wade joined the US Army serving his country during World War II.

On October 11, 1952 Mr. Wade married his loving wife Beaulah Wagnon, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas, she still survives the home.

Mr. Wade was a heavy equipment operator and member of the Local 101, retiring in 1984. After retirement, Mr. Wade enjoyed tinkering in his garage and yard work.

Survivors include his wife of the home sons, Gary Wade of California, Roy Wade of Coffeyville, Kansas daughters, Leota Long of Topeka, Kansas, Patricia McIntyre of Midland, Texas brother, Donald Wade of Kansas City, Missouri sister, Ruth King of Coffeyville, Kansas five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
