Lela A. Riley Coffeyville resident Lela A. Riley entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 30, 2007 in Coffeyville. She was 68. Lela was born September 20, 1938 in Peru, Ks to Roscoe G. and Alta MaeWininger Riley. She grew up and attended schools in Sedan, Ks and Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. In 1954 she married Billy Bob Felton, and they later
orced. In 1956 she married Bobby Wayne Moulds, they later
orced. In 1968 she married Frank Denton and they later
orced. During her working life she worked for Jolly Kids, owned and operated a knitting shop, also owned and operated Denton39;s Ceramic Shop, and retired from the SRS office in Coffeyville after 22 years. Over many years Lela welcomed 400 foster kids into her home. Mrs. Riley enjoyed scrap booking, crocheting, being with her children, grand kids and great grandkids. She took great pleasure in traveling with her kids and family vacations. Mrs. Riley is a member of the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville and Elliott Funston White Post 1022. VFW Ladies Auxiliary She is survived by daughter39;s Brenda K. Tibbets and husband Jim ,Debbie Snider and husband Yogi, Gloria Denton Kerr, April Riley, Crystal Riley, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and her special puppy Rocket. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Billie Moulds Thomas and Lindy Moulds, a son Frank Denton Jr. and a granddaughter Megan Thomas. Friends may call on Wednesday July 4, 2007 from 1 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home to sign the guest register. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 5, 2007 in the Penwell-Gable Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home Chapel. Brothers Andy Daniels and Josh Eden will officiate and burial will follow in Penwell-Gabels Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
