Letha Manley

Letha R. Manley 1911 - 2005 Letha R. Manley, age 93, Edna, passed away on early Monday afternoon on April 25, 2005 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born on December 11, 1911 in Sedan, Kansas to Ben Edward Davis amp; Edith Blanche Graham Davis. She attended Sedan Schools. On November 11, 1930 she married Clarence Edward Manley in Sedan, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1980. Mrs. Manley was a homemaker. She had also worked 2 years for Par Kan Box factory where they made Army Ammunition Boxes from 1968 -1970. She attended the 1st Baptist Church of Edna, Kansas. She was a member of the AARP. Survivors include 3 sons; Charles E., Bennie amp; Jim Manley all of Edna, KS 2 daughters; Anna Mae Vandyne amp; Connie Jean May both of Edna, KS 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren 1 brother Earl E. Davis of Sedan, KS 4 sisters, Dorothy Wall of Sedan, KS; Ethyl Henning, Ark City, KS; Virginia Lawrence, Cedar Vale, KS; Guy Davis, Hutchinson, KS She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, parents, one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be held from 1-8:00 P.M Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 7-8:00 p.m at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove North Edna Cemetery, Edna, Kansas.
