Lille Ruth Dodd, 83, Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at Winsor Place in Coffeyville. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday June 4, 2012 at the First Church of God in Christ Pastor Melvin Simpson will officiate burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will greet visitors from 46:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at PenwellGabel Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel. Lille was born April 4, 1929 at Selma, Alabama to Selmon and Ruth Simms Berry and attended schools in Alabama and moved to Coffeyville in 1949 she and met and married her husband Donald P. Dodd in 1950 and was a homemaker until her children started school and she found employment with the Townsman Motel and later with Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in the housekeeping Department. Lille is a longtime member of the First Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed cooking and in her spare time she was also a hairdresser. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Donald P. Dodd, one son Kim Dodd, two brothers Johnny Berry, Edward Berry, six sisters Leona Dickey, Caney Taylor, Zonnie Coon, Lennie Berry, Fronnie Berry, Myzonia Martin. Survivors include five children Donald Ray Dodd and wife Joyce of Bartlesville, OK Renee Alee and husband Ronald of Dallas, TX Bobby Dodd and wife Margaret of Bartlesville, OK Ruthann Marshall and husband William of Topeka, KS Rosalind Stultz and husband Michael of Coffeyville, KS, eleven grandchildren Kimberla Dodd, Christy Dodd, Bobby Dodd, Joshua Dodd, Ketia Alee, Anice Takahara, Phillip Alee, Donald Dodd, Rosalind Marshall, Jade Marshall, Christopher Dodd.
