Lillie Naomi Simpson age 85 of South Coffeyville passed from her earthly life on August 15, 2020 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Lillie was born on February 20, 1935 in Payette, Idaho to Arthur and Elva (Kelly) Edwards, one of 10 children. Lillie was united in marriage to Joseph A. Holt in 1951. They were blessed with five sons and a daughter. Lillie loved her family unconditionally and cared for their every need. She enjoyed playing the piano, guitar, singing gospel songs, playing Yahtzee, watching westerns, and cooking. She would prepare feasts to ensure everyone was well fed, you would not leave hungry after a visit with Lillie. Lillie loved the Lord above all and lived her life to serve him. Those that knew her best describe her as kind, giving, loving, humble, and funny.
Lillie’s memories will live on with her children; Ronnie Holt his wife Juana Lou of Danville, AR, Gerald Holt his wife Kathy of Danville, AR, Norman Holt of Waldron, AR, Joey Holt his wife Benita of Parks, AR, and Diana Palone her husband Kenny of South Coffeyville, OK, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She now rests with her parents, husbands; Joe Holt, Dale Simpson, John Simpson, 6 brothers, 3 sisters, son Darrel Holt, granddaughter Deanna Holt, daughter-in-law Juanita Holt, and great-grandson Mitch Holt.
