Linda Pearl Riley age 72, of Coffeyville, KS, passed away on March 27, 2017 at Windsor Place of Coffeyville.
Linda was born on May 27, 1944, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Thomas and Marjorie (Eppler) Head. She attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School. After high school Linda met George Riley and they were united in marriage on March 6, 1963. The couple was blessed with two sons, Danny and Thomas. Linda loved being a mother and took great pride in taking care of her household. She also enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, painting, and drawing. She enrolled in the home artwork courses through the American Artwork Program, where she excelled in painting. Linda was one of the most trusting ladies, always offering and giving help to anyone in need. Linda always had an optimistic outlook on life and appreciated all that it had to offer.
Those left to honor her memory are her sons; Danny Riley and Thomas Riley, his wife Susan, a brother, Paul Head, sister, Margie Buster, and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 53 years, George.
Honoring Linda's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. The family suggests memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and they may be sent or left in care of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel 2405 Woodland Ave, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
