Lois Lyneil Teehee, 94, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Windsor Place Nursing Center in Coffeyville. She was born September 4, 1915 in Santa Paula, California to James C. Rodgers and Cassie A. Rodgers. Lois attended grade school in San Marcos, Texas, moved to Peru, Kansas and completed her education at Peru High School. She was married to Roy Hube Teehee on April 12, 1930. The couple moved to Coffeyville with his employment and Lois worked at the Oasis and Newberrys in the ready to wear department. Lois sang in a ladies gospel choir on the radio She was a member of the Assembly of God Church for 74 years and taught adult Sunday school classes. She was the director of the womens ministries and president of the widows group, sang in the choir and was involved with youth departments when her children were growing up. She was always a loving wife and mother involved in all activities of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy H. Teehee,Sr. ,sister Velma Lynn and grandson Rodger Orr. Survivors include daughters: Dixie Findley of Coffeyville, Judy Orr and husband Fred of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sons: Roy H. Teehee and wife Martha of Oklahoma City and Danny Teehee,Sr. and wife Lucretia of Catoosa, Oklahoma, grandchildren: Nancy Teehee, Stephanie Teehee, Chris Teehee, Danny Teehee II and Kevin Findley, several stepgrandchildren, greatgrandchildren and step greatgranchildren and step greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Lois L. Teehee will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Coffeyville Assembly of God Church at 2:00PM with interment following at Restlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at PenwellGabel Funeral Home in Coffeyville on Wednesday at 7:00pm until 8:30pm.
