Loretta M. Cox 1931 - 2005 Loretta M. Cox, 74, formerly of Coffeyville, passed away in Houston, Texas on Monday, November 14, 2005. Mrs. Cox had been a resident of Houston, Texas since 1950. She was born June 24, 1931 to John Frank and Lizzie Lou Irene Creason Battaglear in Coffeyville, Kansas. She lived most of her childhood in Coffeyville. She married Richard C. Cox in St. Louis, Missouri in 1950. He preceded her in death January 11, 1974. She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxillary Post 1022 of Coffeyville. She is survived by her son Robert Battaglear Marsha of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Frank and James Battaglear both of Coffeyville; two sisters, Wanda Louise Conger of Coffeyville; Rosie McNutt of Downy, California 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren She was also preceded in death by her parents amp; 16 brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville. Calling hoursVisitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 18, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
